Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a permanent FINANCIAL CONTROLLER for a dynamic manufacturing organisation based in PEMBROKE
Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Controller will play a key strategic role in the growth of the business. You will work closely to support your operational colleagues and will take overall responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the accounts.
Take overall control of the finance function of the business.
Oversee the preparation of month end accounts to strict deadlines
Ensure compliance with all UK reporting requirements
Develop and deliver management information to enhance the control and direction of the business.
Have overall responsibility for the company's payroll.
Have responsibility for the IT and HR functions of the business.
Control Treasury activities covering 3 currencies.
Co-ordinate Audit, Corporate and R&D Taxes with professional providers.
Providing the training to finance and non-finance staff to understand commercial implications of their actions and decision making
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and planning for the organisation
Challenge existing financial and operational processes to ensure continuous improvement
Profile
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and will have experience of working in a senior role within a Manufacturing business.
