**Reconciliation Clerk**

This is a privately owned firm and the market leaders in their sector, serving clients all over the UK and across Europe. Based out of Dudley they now require a Reconciliation Clerk to join their Finance Department on a permanent basis.

This opportunity is paying between £19,000 - £21,000 per annum.

Reconciliation Clerk

As a Reconciliation Clerk, you will assist with the processing of cheques, run daily cash reports, deal with monthly bank reconciliations and ensure postings and allocations are correct. When required you will also assist with general administration duties.

Key Responsibilities:

 Run daily cash reports

 Checking and processing cheques, BACS and Chaps payments

 Control and reconciliation of petty cash

 Preparation of daily banking

 Payment Processing

 Reconciliation of the cashiers' suspense account

 Daily reconciliation and banking of receipts

 Ad hoc duties as required, including occasional cover for treasury analysis and investment decisions

 Inter-company reconciliations

 Liaising with Customers and Branches

 Maintain high level of customer service

 Good housekeeping to promote an efficient working environment

 Assist with the allocation of customer receipts to ensure deadlines are met

Skills and Experience

 Experience of posting high volumes of cash receipts

 Good telephone manner

 Accurate keyboard skills

 Sound literacy and numeracy skills

 Experience with working with Microsoft packages Excel, Word and Outlook

 Methodical and well organised

 Teamwork is essential as in the ability to work on own initiative

 Excellent Communication skills
