Finance Manager in Telford
Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting an organisation in Telford that are looking to recruit a Finance Manager. The role will contribute to the continuous development of the companies strategic development by defining and implementing effective accounting polices and controls processes and reporting.
The finance team are 40 strong with multiple progression opportunities for individuals who have the gravitas and hunger to build relationships in other departments and drive change.
Finance Manager responsibilities:
- Preparation of all monthly management information, group submission schedules and uploads into Hyperion HFM consolidation system
- Responsibility for all aspects of divisional financial planning including quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, and all variance analysis against actuals
- Monthly cost centre reviews supporting each departmental budget holder monitor performance against budget
- Responsible for divisional cash reporting and forecasting
- Manage the group intercompany recharge and reconciliation process
- Managing the preparation of the divisional VAT return
- Responsible for ensuring the Central division complies with SOX requirements, implementing new controls, and producing all divisional year end statutory accounts submissions, schedules and tax analysis
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual group reports and analysis

Any practice experience would be an advantage, however, this is not essential and previous experience in a similar role is more important.
