The role

We are seeking an A grade financial accountant to come on board and manage all aspects of the finance function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day transactions of the group.

Key responsibilities will include

• Ensure the trial balances are maintained and fully reconciled for all group entities.
• Managing the purchase and sales ledger.
• Member and supplier queries
• Monthly management accounts including the posting of accruals, deferred income, prepayments and accrued income.
• VAT returns for 8 group entities
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting
• Updating the budget model
• Managing payments to suppliers
• Other ad hoc tasks.

Profile

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
• Industry experience gained within an SME as a financial accountant
• Experience of working in a fast-paced background and meeting tight reporting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent communicator
• Self-motivated individual.
