Blackwaters is recruiting Group Financial Controller on behalf of a fast growing listed tech group based in Fleet. We are looking for a candidate who to take the business through the next growth phase. This is a true “number two” role and will take responsibility for the day to day finance and reporting functions for this listed group.
Key Responsibilities
Group finance
- Manage the group reporting and consolidation process
- Review and reporting of monthly performance
- Group budgets, business plans & forecasts
- Production of management information and other adhoc reporting
- Preparing plc statutory accounts
- Analysis and preparation of Group tax submissions
- Manage the banking relationship
- Insurance management
- Group VAT
- Cash flow reporting
- Ensuring group compliance
Controllership and Business Partnering
- Supporting the development of presentations to analysts and shareholders
- Developing performance of Group Finance function
- Improving current processes in line with business needs
- Identifying and crystallising development opportunities
- Developing strong working relationships with country finance functions
- Regular interaction with country Finance functions (including visits if required)
- Business unit support
Ad hoc
- Acquisition accounting
- Acquisition integration

Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- PLC exposure (AIM or FTSE)
- Strong reporting and consolidation background
- International experience
- A high energy, hands-on, proactive approach
- Excellent Excel skills
- A precise, well organised approach with good attention to detail / accuracy
- Strong people skills
