Semi-Senior Accountant

Accounts Semi-Senior | Derby | £22,000 - £26,000

Macildowie Finance are recruiting for a Semi-Senior Accountant for a well-known Accountancy firm based in Derby. The role is offering study support for the right candidate and is an opportunity to work with Sole Trader up to Small Limited Company Accounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be studying or qualified in AAT/ACA/ACCA. Experience in Sage, Xero and Iris accounting software is desirable but not essential.

Duties Include:

- Accounts preparation for a Derbyshire based clientele

- Bookkeeping and assistance with Management Accounts

- Preparation of Financial statements for small businesses

- Liaison with client managers

- VAT & TAX returns - Essential

- Other ad-hoc duties as required
