Investment Director

My client is a leading national PE firm with a long established successful track record of producing consistently high returns for its investors. The firm will shortly be launching a sizeable new lower mid market Private Equity fund targeting high quality growth orientated SME's with equity cheque investments up to £5m.

This is a tremendous career opportunity for a high calibre Investment Director to establish and head up this new fund within the Yorkshire region, and this hands-on autonomous role will span responsibility for:

• recruiting and developing a small, high quality investment team based in Leeds.
• marketing the Fund using your strong professional network as well as leading the proactive identification of "off market" SME targets across the region.
• managing the entire deal process from origination to completion.
• ongoing "business partnership" professional support to portfolio companies to achieve their strategic goals in order to maximise their profitable growth potential and shareholder value on successful future exit. 

The successful candidate will have a strong professional and business network within the Yorkshire region - you will either already be a successful Investor operating at Investment Manager/Director level and attracted by the opportunity to make the next career step to head up and manage this new regional PE fund. Alternatively, applications will also be seriously considered from experienced Corporate Finance professionals with Director level experience within a medium-large firm or respected CF boutique.

You must also be self-driven, results-orientated with a clear focus on quality and performance, as well as having an engaging personality with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships across the deal-making professional community and portfolio companies.
