Interim Assistant Management Accountant

Robertson Bell Finance are looking to recruit an Interim Assistant Management Accountant for an exciting opportunity within a dynamic Not for Profit organisation based within Central London. This role will have a fixed term duration of twelve months with potential for further extension should the right candidate apply.

The key duties within the role will include;
-Assisting with the departmental budget preparation for selected departments as well as leading on four smaller departments.
-Regularly liaising with a number of budget holders including heads of departments.
-Supporting the Management accountant in the preparation of regular reforecasts and budgets as well as monitoring progress and ensuring that financial targets are met and variances understood.
-Providing commentary and analysis to the Management Accountant.
-Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.

The successful candidate will; be an excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex financial accounting concepts to non-finance members of staff, experienced in delivering the full month end process and working towards a relevant financial qualification. You will be an ambitious and driven individual looking to progress in your next role.
