Management Accountant

Based out of Milton Keynes and with operations around the world (particularly Europe, Australia and the U.S) this leader in its field is seeking to appoint a technically adept and forward thinking Management Accountant to its existing team and offer them exciting potential for further development and responsibility in the process.

Reporting to the Group Accountant and working closely with a dedicated group of finance professionals, you’ll be responsible for developing and preparing monthly management reporting for the UK division of the global group. Working with both finance and non-finance related teams across the business, you’ll gather, challenge where necessary and validate data in order to submit reports with accompanying appropriate analysis.

The development of wider management reporting will also form a key part of your role, along with control of the UK cash flow process and other tasks to include:

• Completion of monthly management accounts pack
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Operational reporting and analysis
• Providing support to project managers
• Cash flow and cash management
• Budgets, planning, and process improvement
• Assisting with the annual audit
• Assisting with systems selection and implementation
• Ad-hoc projects

A part-qualified or qualified by experience management accountant, you’ll be able to demonstrate prior examples of initiative and a proactive approach to your work, along with an excellent level of Excel skill.

Confident communication/interpersonal and influencing skills (both written and verbal) are also essential, as is the natural aptitude for working well both within a team and alone when required. Previous experience of working in a multi currency/multi revenue stream business will be an advantage.

On offer in return is an attractive and comprehensive remuneration package consisting of a basic starting salary of £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience per annum, along with potential bonus, contributory pension, 23 days annual holiday entitlement (rising to 25 days with tenure), income replacement protection, flexible working and a range of other benefits.
