A prestigious charity is looking for a new Finance Director to take over the running of their dedicated finance team. This organisation is a highly regarded employer and this role in particular has real opportunity to make significant impact on the organisation over the coming years.
The role will oversee the Finance and IT team and will report into the Chief Executive. Key responsibilities will include the continuous interaction with other members of the Senior Management Team to determine future strategy. You will be responsible for a finance team that covers the full range of finance including accounting, management accounting, business partnering and payroll. This commercial finance role would suit someone with strong business partnering and overall communication skills who is capable of being both strategic and hands on.
This position would suit someone with either a strong background overseeing the finances of a charitable finance function, or someone coming from the private sector who is keen to join the not for profit sector. A strong leadership style is needed, as is the experience in managing day to day operations of the finance function. This position requires a fully qualified accountant who has experience operating as part of a Senior Management Team who can equally take responsibility for the finance function at an operational level and combine this with the development of an organisational strategy.
If you are interested in this position, please apply early as a quick turnaround is preferable so applications are being reviewed daily.
