Group Finance Manager

A sub £10m turnover Manufacturing sector firm based in West Bromwich, is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join the Business on a permanent basis, as the Group Finance Manager. Reporting in to the MD, the Group Finance Manager will be offered a salary in the range of £45,000 to £50,000, and provided with a company car, pension, and private health care plan.

The unique proposition with this opportunity, is that the MD will likely want to take a step back from the day-to-day running of the Business over the next 5-10 years, so for the right candidate, there would be the opportunity to step up to an MD position.

Managing a team of 2, the Group Finance Manager will focus on preparation of monthly management accounts, and have a big focus on profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliation, and departmental analysis by customer. The Group Finance Manager will also manage relations with the Banks / Lenders, as well as the Auditors. A full job description can be provided on request.

We are ideally seeking a Qualified Accountant with significant post qualification experience to include:

• Extensive manufacturing sector experience in a similar sized company
• Experience of producing management and financial accounts
• Strong man management experience
• IT literate, with in depth experience of Excel, Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll
