Preparation of the monthly management accounts and producing financial information
Reporting information to key areas within the business.
Deliver results to the team with full analysis of variances.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations to agreed deadlines with all reconciling items investigated and resolved promptly.
Responsibility for filing of overseas VAT returns.
Involvement in year-end process, preparation of deliverables for the audit and key contact for the auditors during the audit process.
Identify opportunities to continuously improve financial systems and processes and implement these changes.
Produce ad-hoc reports to communicate financial performance to management with recommendations.
Ongoing non business as usual project work within the finance team as and when required.
Part Qualified accountant
Proven experience as a Management Accountant in a commercial environment
Retail experience highly advantageous
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, to prioritise work load and deliver accurate information on time to a high standard
A proactive individual who takes ownership of their tasks
Open, friendly person who is keen to develop and work as part of a team
