This is an exceptional opportunity for a high calibre ACA qualified accountant or banking qualified individual to join one of the world’s leading investment banks.  The Manchester office are purely deal focused so you will get involved in the management of a whole variety of Corporate Finance Transactions from day one.

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Supporting senior bankers’ marketing initiatives by co-ordinating the work of more junior team members and junior resources to deliver a pitch book to specification.
  • Co-ordinating and reviewing financial models developed by more junior members of the team.
  • Managing key transactions by co-ordinating the transaction process both internally and with other advisers, reviewing the selling documentation and defining supporting analysis and arguments for negotiation purposes.  The prestigious client base will include medium and large public and private companies and household names.
  • Coaching and managing juniors in the team in the above.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional educational record with first time passes in ACA (or an equivalent qualification), be highly ambitious with a strong commercial acumen. You will have had at least 3-4 years Corporate Finance experience, either within an investment bank or a large accountancy firm.  Language skills would be useful but not essential as there will be a certain amount of international liaisons within the role.

You must be driven and focused, able to overcome setbacks and be results orientated.  You must be able to build strong client relationships that add value to the client and their business.  In the future you may take on other opportunities in the worldwide network and success will lead to extensive benefits and bonuses.

This is a rare opening in the North region and may be ideal for someone who is looking to step away from London but still keep their level of opportunity in their role and on a six figure salary.  Or indeed it may be someone experienced in the Manchester market and looking for their next challenge.
