A highly successful business based in High Wycombe are seeking a commercial focused Finance Analyst who can provide detailed analysis to the senior executive team to enable strategic decisions to be made.
The business has good exposure to the whole of finance and the senior management and provides real variety.
- Key responsibilities will include the accurate preparation and timely delivery of critical business performance information, supporting profitability analysis, identifying cost risks & opportunities, analysing trends and driving core business initiatives.
- Provide accurate and timely preparation of monthly internal and external performance reporting.
- Prepare 'board level' presentation for Budget and forecasting.
- Monitor, manage and provide explanations to senior management around key variances to budget against previous year.
Skills Required
- Experience of working in a commercial finance role is essential; ideally this would be within a retail/ multi-site/ FMCG environment.
- Part-qualified would be desirable but not essential (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Confident in presenting information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload, meet deadlines, and maintain calm under pressure.
- Self-starter with confidence to drive change.
