ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT, EAST CAMBRIDGESHIRE £22,000 -£24,000pa
Our client, based in Cambridgeshire, are looking for an Assistant Accountant on a temporary assignment with a view of going permanent.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will provide crucial support to the finance team.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
-Prepare month end journals
-Accruals and prepayments
-Analysis of areas of expenditure and variance within the budget
-VAT returns
-Balance sheet reconciliation
-Re-charges reflecting business performance
-Oversee debtors and credit control
-Support the preparation of the monthly management accounts
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, able to work to deadlines, a good communicator and a team player with strong attention to detail.
