Commercial Finance Manager

Our client, a FTSE listed brand that continues to demonstrate impressive growth on an international scale, is looking to source a top calibre and commercially astute Commercial Finance Manager to join its dynamic team. This business operated a highly successful talent planning structure, ensuring those with ambition and drive are continually engaged and rewarded, whilst achieving their own professional goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and challenging the marketing function, through business partnering, decision support, budgeting, forecasting (UK Retail sales line c£600m) analysis of trends and business cases. You will manage one Commercial Finance Analyst, reporting to the Head of Commercial and Investment Finance.

Main duties include:
* Presenting financial performance of product & marketing initiatives to UK&I MD, Marketing Director & Finance Director
* Continually improve category performance through ROI analysis
* Supporting Marketing Team to interpret and use KPI information
* Identifying risks and opportunities in the performance of products
* Business partnering with Retail Teams through financial support for product related projects

You must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a strong academic record to date, including a minimum 2:1 degree from a well-regarded institution and excellent Excel modelling skills. You will also have performed a similar, commercial-focused, business partnering role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Candidates must have examples to date where you have demonstrated a clear ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, externally of finance, utilising a confident, professional and credible character to influence others and liaise with Senior Managers/Directors. It's important you are able to show a passion for what drives a business and a commerciality that enables you to work beyond the numbers and partner with other to drive profitability.
