Salary: £70k - £100k + Excellent Bonus + Equity Scheme

Location: Greater Manchester

Hawkmont Consulting is currently recruiting a Finance Director for a PE House who specialise in backing high growth SME’s. The firm is just about to launch a new fund which is specifically focussed on the North-West area.

The Company

This is an excellent opportunity within one of the most exciting PE houses in the country, who have a lengthy track record of producing excellent returns for their investors.  

Our client is open to ideas for this Finance Director role. You could either be a seasoned portfolio specialist within a PE firm in the Northwest or you could be an experienced Finance Director who has had exposure to PE and turnaround situations. Our client is also interested in potentially looking at somebody leaving a senior role within a Corporate Finance or Corporate Restructure teams.  

Requirements

The candidate will provide support for the monitoring of the fund’s equity investments, including general portfolio management, quarterly valuation and reporting, supporting the potential restructuring of investments, as well as supporting ongoing fundraising and existing investor relationship efforts

To be applicable for this role you must fit the below criteria.  

• Must have experience of capital structuring and be comfortable driving positive business and process change.
• Must have prior M&A experience coupled with internal growth/restructuring abilities
• Fantastic leadership and management capability
• A background in either audit/corporate finance would be seen as a positive foundation
• Knowledge of driving best practice in growing business would be advantageous
• A fully qualified finance professional is required (ACA/CA/ACCA/ACMA)
