Fast-growing and dynamic Fin Tech / Investment business is looking for a Part-Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join its highly motivated and outgoing finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be in a Management Accounts team of 3, as part of a wider finance division in excess of 20.
Responsibilities:
- Producing sets of management accounts for various funds, including the preparing profit and loss accounts and variance analysis with commentary
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Involved in full month end close, including posting various journals
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Fixed Assets and depreciation
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Candidate must be studying towards, but not qualified, in ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Candidates must hold a bachelors degree
- Candidates must have some solid management accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills are required
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of working with non-finance personnel in previous roles
- Candidates must have an outgoing personality and looking to embrace a positive vibrant culture
- Candidates must be hard-working and able to demonstrate initiative and the willingness to go the extra mile
