Bookkeeper / Company Accountant

A new Bookkeeper / Accountant job vacancy paying up to £40k working for a family run business in Hammersmith.

Your new company
Operating from the heart of Hammersmith this family run business has been operating for over 30 years in the retail/manufacturing sector. After a long term of employment, the current Bookkeeper / Company Accountant is set to retire. The successful applicant will therefore become a key member of the team, becoming integral to the future success of the business.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the managing director and working in a small team of 5, you will be entirely responsible for all elements of accounting and bookkeeping. Duties include: accounts payable & receivable, day to day bookkeeping, VAT returns, bringing accounts to trial balance and creating monthly management accounts on SAGE 50.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similar role (similar sized business circa £2/3 million turnover), experience producing management accounts and SAGE 50 experience is essential for this job vacancy. Experience within Retail or Manufacturing could be advantageous, but not essential. Evidence of leadership and integrity are key for being successful.

What you'll get in return
