Our client is a leading International Fragrance Brand located in London's West End. Due to growth within both their UK and European business, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join their Accountancy team.
Description
Located in London's West End, our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:
* Accurals
* Prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting with corporate business which will include raising invoices, liaising with stores for dispatch and taking payment.
* Journals
* Assisting with budgets & forecasts
* Entering purchase invoices.
* Making supplier payments.
* Accounts receivable reconciliations
* Reconciling intercompany with France
* Processing Employee expenses and credit card reconciliations
* Post daily receipts and payments
* Bank reconciliations
* Reporting to Paris our daily cash holdings
* Assisting with quarterly stock takes
* Monthly intrastat returns
* Quarterly EC Sales list
* Ad hoc finance duties as requested by the Financial Controller and Managing Director
Profile
This role would suit a second jobber with 18months- 2years experience, with a good transactional base and some exposure to month-end processing
Job Offer
Salary of up to £27,000 - £30,000
