Finance Analyst needed for FTSE100 Healthcare business in Berkshire.
£45,000 - £50,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join a FTSE100 Healthcare business based in the Berkshire area.
This role would be ideal for a newly qualified accountant looking for their next career move either out of practice or in industry and offers the chance to gain high levels of responsibility inside a company entering an exciting period of change. The individual will also have great levels of exposure to senior management, preparing reports and analyses for their review. This is a fantastic company in the Reading area, and provides a platform for an ambitious individual to progress their career as a result.
To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to have:
- Fully qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA).
- Degree level education (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex problems and through effective analysis, deliver business solutions to senior management.
- Strong knowledge of finance/accounting principles, policies and procedures.
- Strong communicator that is capable of liaising with all levels of management.
- Self-starter with a resilient and proactive approach.
- Desire to add value within a growing business adopting a flexible culture.
A little more information about the role:
- Support the preparation and review of actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year. The individual will also be responsible for preparing and analysing financial results for utilisation by the Global FP&A team.
- Analyse data relating to key issues, risks and opportunities to assist the Global FP&A team and senior management in the development of business plans and provide support and recommendations to this process.
- Recognise the implications of emerging business issues and contributes to the development of alternative solutions, whilst maintaining financial integrity.
- Conduct thorough analysis of data whist gathering critical information throughout. Prioritise and effectively allocate required organisational resources, delivering consistently high-quality solutions to critical business tasks.
- Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office, as well as other applications, to enable large volumes of data and analysis to be managed and presented in an effective manner.
