Chief Financial Officer

At this strategically important point in their development they wish to appoint an internationally experienced Chief Financial Officer, who will contribute in the key areas of finance, operations, commercial and acquisitions, thereby supporting the business to achieve its 5 year plan. Success in the role for the CFO will be demonstrated by the increased financial understanding and ownership of performance across the business.

~ The primary purpose is, to both report and business partner the Group CEO, to identify and help to develop short, medium and long term financial plans and business strategies in order to achieve agreed Company objectives, subsequently and effectively implement the agreed plans and strategies

~ To effectively manage on a day-to-day basis all key issues relating to the Company's financial matters, including the management of treasury, foreign currency strategy, debtors and creditors, cashflow and the efficient and timely presentation of data relating to the Company's financial performance, as and when agreed necessary.

~ To develop, build and lead the Legal functions to be aligned with the business strategy.

~ To contribute and support the activities of the operational leadership team (CEO, Commercial, Operations, Product Development, etc..) and effectively manage relationships with professional advisers, including auditors, banks, insurance brokers and solicitors.

~ In liaison with the CEO, to undertake all necessary activities to recommend to the Board of Directors, an annual budget by year, update the rolling forecasts and a 5 year business plan.

To be considered for this role you will be an exceptionally skilled and entrepreneurial qualified accountant who has operated in an international technology group. As the ultimate financial steward of the business you will possess a strong 'financial accounting' background with experience of tax planning, cash management and managing 3rd parties. It is essential that you will have private enterprise experience as a Finance Director or CFO.
