Audit Accounts Manager job for ACA ACCA qualified in modern Top 50 accountancy firm in Godalming Surrey

Your new firm
You will be working for a modern, medium-sized firm of chartered accountants, ranked in the top 50 of UK practices by Accountancy Age magazine. They have offices in London and Godalming and around a hundred and twenty people are well known for their work in some niche industry sectors including, film, entertainment & media and financial services, but the firm also looks after a wide range of businesses in other sectors and has more than just audit and accounts departments, for example a thriving and well regarded private client and trusts practice.

Your new role
You will be working as part of an experienced team as an Accounts/Audit Manager, delegating work as a portfolio manager to a team of capable and experience accounts staff. The role will incorporate around 25% audit work and the remainder of the time will be dealing with general practice accounts and tax work.
The client base is varied and includes property investment companies, manufacturers, specialist agencies and charities amongst others, and are based locally in Surrey and further afield into London.
The firm utilises IRIS and SAPA so previous experience of these systems would be useful but is not essential.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have substantial experience in a similar position in a small to medium sized firm and be looking for an opportunity where you can take responsibility for a challenging portfolio. You will probably be ACA or ACCA qualified or "qualified by experience" but a general practice accountant is a pre-requisite.
