Company Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting exclusively for a Company Accountant. My client is a privately owned residential property management business in Leeds Centre. This position is a number one finance role reporting directly to the Managing Director.

My client is keen to find a confident and personable accountant with a passion for being involved in the wider business. This key appointment will assist with driving the company forward and improving the processes and systems. As a result my client is seeking an ambitious accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career as long as they have the gravitas and knowledge to be involved in the commercial and operational decision making which will shape the path the business takes over the next few years.

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:


* Recent relevant experience in one of the following market sectors - Property letting, Facilities, Building services and Housing
* Proven production and consolidation of monthly management accounts
* Production of annual budgets and Forecasts
* Managing the working capital
* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
* Process all transactions in the bank accounts and credit card and prepare monthly bank
reconciliations.
* Processing of all charges relating to communal areas in the let properties.
* Recording of service charges/ ground rent etc collected on leases, including quarterly invoicing.
* Manage and supervise the correct processing of rental income including rent, deposits and fees
* Collection and returning deposits, making the necessary payments
* Excellent IT skills, experience producing ad hoc reports on Excel
