Commercial Finance Manager

A high growth technology start-up are looking for a very commercial Finance Manager to join their finance function in Central London. After a successful initial round of funding, they are looking to bring in a bright and energetic candidate who is able to focus on the more commercial side of finance. With the statutory reporting all being outsourced for the business, you will be able to focus on the strategic element of finance, working alongside very senior stakeholders and being exposed to various projects (including an additional round of fund raising).

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts & budgets.
• Assisting in preparation for second round of funding.
• Cash flow forecasting and KPI reporting.
• Ensure an accurate and timely balance sheet actual reporting and forecasting process.
• Support on board meetings, with the presentation of quarterly board reports.
• Preparation of Quarterly VAT schedule and payment.
• Involvement in Finance Projects and adhoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant - ACA/CA/ACCA or CIMA.

• Undergraduate degree.

• Strong academic track record.

• Tech background is desirable.
• Willingness to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to different situations.
• A real self-starter.
