This market-leading, highly successful R&D organisation are seeking an experienced qualified accountant to join their team as Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director this role is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process and will develop financial systems and processes as part of their continuous improvement plan. The Group Financial Controller will support the external compliance requirements of the Group on an international level including regulatory filings and audits.
The postholder will work closely with the Corporate Finance Director and will be expected to provide sound technical input along with strong planning and analytical skills to support key business decisions and direction. The role will have responsibility for managing a team of three who are responsible for financial reporting, consolidations and Head Office accounting.
Interested applicants will be fully qualified accountants with strong technical knowledge and must be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt and show initiative in addressing new situations. The ability to build strong cross functional business relationships is also a pre-requisite.
