A Large Financial company based in South Leeds are looking to recruit an experienced payroll and benefit specialist top join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a household name company.

You will have the following duties:

*Assisting with the monthly payroll process ensuring all payments and deductions are accurate
*Communicating with all relevant levels within the business to ensure payroll time tables are met and data submitted is accurate
*Processing all payments on Sage payroll; Bonus payments, Annual Bonus payments, overtime, SMP, SSP, SPP, student loans, AOE
*Processing all Flexible benefits through payroll applying the correct tax and Nl calculation, these include childcare vouchers, Life Assurance ,PMI, Pensions
*Ownership of the Timesheet Function within self-service for all employees supporting new managers with the process and ensuring all issues are resolved, if any with Sage or IT support
*Processing all payroll deductions including absence, new starter and leaver calculations
*Processing all online forms which impact on Payroll for example, personnel or salary changes
*Processing monthly and weekly reports for internal departments
*Processing monthly HMRC reports ,p45s and payslips
*Working alongside the HR team to ensure all current data inputted is accurate within the payroll function
*Assisting the Payroll Team with all new and ongoing government processes to include AE & RTI.
*Any other duties/ responsibilities commensurate with this role including additional tasks required in the absence of the Payroll Officer

You must also have the following experience:

*Extensive Payroll and Benefits processing experience
*Experience of using an integrated Self Service/ HR and Payroll System
*Experience of working with a medium to large payroll: 350- 1500 employees
