Part-Time Finance Director

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a PART TIME FINANCE DIRECTOR for a dynamic business services organisation based in Cardiff.

We are seeking a strategic Finance Director for three days per week, to identify and develop financial strategies that improve the long term sustainable earnings of the business.

Your remit will be:

To focus on factors that will increase the value of the business

To provide guidance and advice in the most effective allocation of capital and resources to enhance the profitability of the business

Key responsibilities;

Enhancing the firm's financial performance and growth opportunities

Improving the overall cost income ratio by identifying process improvements and efficiency gains by the application of lean and/or continuous improvement strategies

Developing financial, capital and tax strategies that manage the firm's liquidity for budgeting purposes

Establishing and monitoring a compliant financial management framework across the business

Monitoring performance and reporting on trends and projections that identify opportunities for expansion

Implementing financial strategies and controls as agreed by the firm's Board (Overseeing the day to day operation of the finance function

Liaising with the firm's bankers, accountants and other third parties and stakeholders standing

Salary circa £110,000 pro-rata plus benefits
