Finance Manager / Factory Business Partner

Dorset

 

Due to a recent reorganisation, this multinational food and beverage business are looking to appoint a Factory BP / Finance Manager to provide financial support to the production team at one of their manufacturing facilities in Dorset.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to take complete ownership of the finance function working in a dynamic environment, and be a key partner in driving the business forward. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the provision of financial support and analysis that allows for effective decisions to be made by the managers within the business.

 

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for all SAP production factory management accounting and reconciliations
  • Business partnering support to Production Management including modeling of production planning scenarios
  • Production of accurate monthly factory management accounts within given deadlines
  • Support month-end results process from production including commentary and analysis where required
  • Direct, maintain and analyse standard costing through SAP including transfer prices ensuring inter-company controls are in place
  • Co-ordinate the factory forecast process and costings
  • Attend and contribute to relevant production and other meetings
  • Assist with control of 3rd party warehouse stock counts
  • Assist with quarterly Fairtrade Audits and ensure compliance
  • Responsible for the internal audit(GRC) process and liaise with external auditors (where required)
  • Responsible for the data presented in the Supply Chain Scorecard
  • Analyse factory performance to given metrics
  • Provide support to the Operations team
  • Key member of the BRC accreditation project team
  • Production of records and other information to feed into standard costing in SAP including variance analysis
  • Control of factory CAPEX expenditure liaising with the Operational team
  • Provide ad hoc support to finance department as and when necessary

 

The successful candidate should ideally be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or overseas equivalent) or Qualified by Experience.

  • High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
