Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Royston, Hertfordshire- A global business with multiple divisions are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis individual to join the finance function.

Reporting to and supporting the Sector Management Accountant you will be joining a business that prides itself on professional development, 1st class service and a competitive benefits package with flexible add-ons to enhance the overall package.

The role will take responsibility for the entire sector as you take the lead on profitability, balance sheet efficiency and performance management including cashflow monitoring, budgeting and monthly reporting. The role will encompass reports and presentations for board packs and management meetings, co-ordinating monthly financial performance providing insightful analysis on a monthly basis including forecasting profit & loss, balancesheet and cashflow work. The successful applicant will take the lead on improving the availability of market/business intelligence throughout the division via the means of improved data capture. You will co-ordinate the annual budget processes setting appropriate deadlines while liaising with wider management teams while supporting the strategic planning of the sector.

The successful applicant will hold an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with prior experience in an analytical position with a finance background. You will have experience in handling large volumes of data and able to extract key information in an efficient manner. You will have a keen eye for detail, able to communicate to both finance and non- finance individuals while maintaining a high level of service across the business.

Salary £47,000- £54,000 p.a
