They are looking for a Finance Analyst to get involved in many areas of the accounts to help drive the business forward and increase profitability.
Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the duties of the role will include:
- Prepare month end management accounts, ensuring accuracy of accounts
- monthly revenue journals and analysis including revenue recognition
- reconciliation of accounts to the accommodation system
- accruals & prepayments
- payroll journals, analysis and forecasting
- support senior analyst with P&L review and variance analysis
- Complete monthly HFM reporting schedules for corporate submission, adhering to deadlines.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly, including deferred revenue, identifying any items that need to be adjusted, released or moved and entering journals as required.
- Support tax preparation - Annual & Monthly
- completion of tax packages for Corporate, completion of annual Corporation Tax Pack for external tax accountants, liaise with accounting firm.
- Co-ordinate & confirm inter-company transactions
- confirmations, inter-company recharges and posting of any required journals.
- Record / Maintain PP&E accounts
- update, maintain & reconcile fixed asset register, including fixed asset module in Oracle and ensuring correct procedures for addition and disposal of assets.
- Record / Maintain Inventory accounts
- account for and reconcile inventory balances, including co-ordination of stocktake procedures.
- Review of systems and processes quarterly, making recommendations to management where appropriate.
- Support internal and external audit fieldwork.
- Prepare VAT Returns and ONS Returns.
- Support A/R & A/P as needed.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified ACCA/CIMA and have strong management accounts prep and financial analysis experience.
Job Offer
A basic salary of between £33,000- £38,000 plus study support and an excellent, varied overall package.
