Head of Finance

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a Head of Finance for a dynamic services organisation based in Cardiff.

You will be the number one in finance for the Welsh business and will be wholly responsible for being the finance expert for the senior leadership team.

Role

You will be the number one in finance for the Welsh business and will be wholly responsible for being the finance expert for the senior leadership team.

You will be the key advisor financially for budgetary management and forecasting and will be a key strategic decision maker in spend and analysis of ongoing projects.

You will provide guidance for the leadership in translating and implementing the strategy into operational practice and to deliver on business objectives and annual operating plans for P&L and working capital

To deliver insightful analysis to support decision making and improve performance. To support and develop the financial, operational and commercial decision making.

To add value to the business to help managers push boundaries and promote risk taking in the drive to develop and deliver operational excellence.

Reporting into the head office you will also be key in developing excellence in business systems and processes;

To ensure that the processes and structures exist for robust data collection and delivery of accurate and meaningful monthly performance management information

Strategy and Business Development

Efficient and Effective Operational Implementation of the Strategic Plan

Ensure that costing analysis yields meaningful and practical information about the cost base and identify opportunities to drive improvements in resource utilisation and deliver increased profitability.

Salary & Benefits

Salary from £50,000 to £60,000 plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits
