Interim Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting an interim Finance Manager for a newly private equity backed company within the telecoms sector. Given the change of ownership from private to PE, there is currently a large push on improving MI reporting to the board, and streamlining current processes and procedures. You’ll report to a high energy and personable CFO who is keen for this individual to work autonomously, meaning it’s a project you can really make your mark on. The contract is to last an anticipated 6 month period with the possibility of going permanent from there onwards. Day rate is £350 p/d which is negotiable both up and down dependent on experience and qualification.

More specifically as interim Finance Manager you will be accountable for;

• Documentation, review and improvement of all accounting procedures from transactional level through to the production of management and statutory accounts
• Liaising with the CFO and PE investors in relation to the information they require during board meetings, resulting in the creation of new KPI’s, financial and covenant
• Input into the annual budgeting process, including business partnering to various operational leads including IT, Sales and Procurement

I’m interested in speaking to ACA qualified accountants, ideally with some exposure to both Core Finance and FP&A related roles within industry. Experience of private equity and the telecoms sector would be a huge advantage, as would immediate availability.
