Commercial Finance Manager

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager for a global leader in the media and entertainment space. Reporting directly into the CFO this role will oversee a team of 2 in managing all aspects of finance, including commercial business partnering, for the division's regional operation.

Responsibilities include:

Act as strategic business partner for stakeholders at all levels including MDs, Divisional Leads and the Sales and Marketing team

Support on all strategic commercial decision making including investment appraisal and project analysis

Manage the budgeting, forecasting and long range planning process

Report on key business trends and analyse commercial risks and opportunities

Develop and present analysis of UK results and financial performance

Leading month end close activities; review of monthly journals, balance sheet and income statement, reconciliations and inter-company transactions

Overseeing the preparation of month end analysis and commentary, management reporting packs and commercial analysis for the senior management team

Responsibility for improving accounting processes and internal controls

Leading the external audit and preparation of financial statements and tax packs

Support on all strategic commercial decision making including investment appraisal and project analysis

For success in this role you will be an ACA qualified finance professional with at least 3 years PQE within a similar Finance Manager/Financial Controller capacity, ideally within a complex multinational business. You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and be confident in building relationships at all levels, both locally and internationally.
