Head of Finance and Operations

Robertson Bell is working with one of the leading International Charities focusing on tackling the effects of poverty across the world. This is an exciting period of development for the organisation who are looking to dramatically increase their impact across the world over the coming years.

The Head of Finance and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the whole finance function and leading on the preparation of statutory accounts. Being the most senior role in finance, the Head of Finance and Operations will set the annual budgets and will be a key member of the senior leadership team and oversee the highly capable team of three. As the organisation receives a significant income from large institutional donors, a key part of this role will be overseeing grants management and reporting. With the controls and procedures in place, the Head of Finance and Operations will be responsible for implementing changes where necessary and ensuring a high standard of reporting is met.


The successful candidate will have at least five years post-qualification experience and will be comfortable running a hands-on finance function. Having held a senior management position previously, the ideal candidate will be comfortable assuming a high level of responsibility and liaising with senior finance and non-finance partners internationally.
