An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Systems Analyst to join a well-established Liverpool City Centre business on a permanent basis.
As Finance Systems Analyst you will work as part of a growing team and your main responsibility will be to support the banking, treasury and wider accounting systems used by the Finance department.
Main responsibilities for the Finance Systems Analyst will include:
- Working alongside finance teams to troubleshoot processing issues and support data transfer mechanisms
- Developing specialist knowledge in relevant systems and then sharing this knowledge with the wider support team
- Liaising with the treasury and banking functions to identify and implement potential process improvements
- Liaising with IT teams on day to day issues, change requests, functional improvements and future applications
- Producing system and process documentation
- Being the first point of call for the end user and conducting technical diagnosis of operational problems
- Proactively making technical recommendations
- Researching and interpreting regulatory changes whilst always seeking process improvement - this will include transforming the processing and integration of transactions that occur from the banking and treasury functions
- Running and supporting projects as and when needed
Essential experience for the Finance Systems Analyst:
- Previous experience of supporting banking systems used within a finance department
- An understanding of Banking and Treasury functions, processes and infrastructure
- Experience of working with accounting systems such as SAP, Business Objects and online banking systems
- Previous experience of implementing or participating in financial systems projects
- An awareness of banking regulation as well as an understanding of digital security impact on financial systems will be advantageous
