Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Supervisor for a hugely successful and respected service based business in Doncaster. Due to a recent restructure of the department they are looking for a competent individual to assist the Purchase Ledger Manager in the day to day management of an established team.

You will be responsible for ensuring workloads are managed within a timely manner through close monitoring of departmental KPI's. You will be instrumental in ensuring the team is committed to implementing process improvements by enhancements to the existing system in order to drive further efficiencies within the department.

This will be a varied role, reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager on site. Key responsibilities will include:

*Oversee the material teams day to day workload, by setting expectations through close monitoring of departmental KPI's
*Daily monitoring and review of the e-Commerce and Invoice Activity Workbenches
*Ensure materials invoices received in the department are processed in a timely manner ready for payment
*Escalation point for 'difficult' or 'on hold' accounts
*Responsible for paying materials suppliers in accordance with agreed payment terms
*Responsible for four Purchase Ledger Clerks
*Manage staffing issues (Absenteeism/holidays/appraisals/performance management)
*During holiday and sickness reorganise work load to ensure team targets and deadlines are achieved
*Deputise for Purchase Ledger Manager as required
*Manage own workload and that of the Materials Purchase Ledger Team in order to meet monthly deadlines

To be successful you MUST have the following skills and experiences:

*At least 3 - 5 years previous accounts experience
*Previous supervisory experience
*Excel spreadsheet skills
*An understanding of E-invoicing would be advantageous
*Excellent communication skills
*Keen attention to detail / high degree of accuracy
*Proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach
*Ability to motivate, support and lead a team
