Axon Moore is currently representing a highly regarding financial services business based in Manchester City Centre. With views to expand their team they are now looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant on a part time basis to provide support across the small and longstanding finance team.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller this role will be varied and would ideally suit an AAT qualified or qualified by experience accounts professional.
Key Responsibilities will include;

Key Responsibilities will include;
- Assisting with the preparation on monthly balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss analysis
- Preparing accruals and prepayments for month end close
- Monitoring cash flow across the business
- Preparing weekly bank reconciliations
- Assisting in month end close
- Taking ownership for both Purchase and Sales Ledgers
- Ideally be AAT qualified
- Have a strong background in working in fast paced accounts environment
- Be confident working with little supervision
