Currently recruiting a Sales & Operations Analyst role for our client based just outside of Cambridge.

You will Provide support and challenge the Operations and Sales functions on the quality of business data and to provide accurate and timely reports supporting the many decisions and initiatives within these areas.

The Sales and Operations analyst will be expected to develop a good understanding of products and the Sales and Operational processes within the business. As a member of the Finance team, the Analyst will also support the team's drive for overall data quality, timely reporting, business compliance and the on-going development of new BI tools.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the Sales pipeline / funnel data integrity, key to the weekly / monthly forecast processes.
• Work with the sales teams to question and understand the pipeline data, supporting them in the best way to structure / report opportunities to reflect reality.
• Order Intake reporting for the business and the accuracy of this forecasting.
• Continued development on the revenue profile of the order intake.
• Working with the supply chain team, provide the key sales data and reports to ensure that the future purchases are aligned to the sales commitment.
• Feedback the cash and sales forecast implications of the final supply chain purchases.
• Work with financial reporting team on the accuracy of the data to support Operations.
• Capture and report key metrics, such as Stock Turns, Days on Hand, cost of quality
• The Forecast and Budgetary processes, both providing data and building key components for the process.
• The on-going development of BI Tools and their application within both the finance team and the wider business
• Data quality and improvement projects across the finance group

You will ideally be CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified and have experience of dealing with large data sets. Detailed ERP system knowledge/experience - e.g. MS Dynamics AX, Oracle, SAP. Good understanding of business processes impacting working capital. Sales Quote to cash and Operations Procurement planning to payment. Comfortable working outside of finance team across the business, dealing with individuals at all levels and disciplines.
