Payroll Administrator
Our client has been a trusted partner to the betting and gaming industry for over 30 years, supplying both retail and online operators. Their global delivery of data, streaming, pictures and gaming content enables more than 100,000 betting opportunities a year.

About the role:
Responsible for processing all aspects of the payroll and expense process across the group. This will encompass a wide variety of work including but not limited to: data entry onto payroll system; sickness processing; processing expense claims; third party payments; reporting; reconciliation; internal / external customer relations and, ad hoc project work as required by the Payroll Manager.
Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries. Provide excellent customer service to internal customers both within Finance, across the business and external customers. This role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills as well as requiring drive and determination.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll processing and reporting
- Import overtime into payroll from other systems
- Sickness recording, payment and processing
- Calculate and understand statutory sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay
- Ensure all payroll freelancers are paid in accordance with freelance contracts
- Correct treatment of PAYE and NI
- Payroll queries are to be dealt with as they arise
- Ensure third party payments are made to the legal date required
- Vehicle data recording and informing HMRC
- Help with Year End and P11D processing for HMRC
- Checking and data entry of expenses
- Create Journals for Sage accounting system
- Reconcile Company Credit Card users
- Liaise with internal, external customers to discuss resolve payroll discrepancies and queries
About you:
- Experience within a similar role
- Good excel skills
- Good communication skills (written, verbal and presentational)
- Preferably CIPP part qualified
- Operate within the legal and regulatory framework
- Opportunity for further CIPP / AAT qualification
