Project/Systems Accountant

Royston, Hertfordshire- A global business are looking for an adept Accountant with Project and Systems experience to join a specific division within the organisation.

Working closely with regional teams across the business you will be joining an organisation who pride themselves on providing a challenging yet rewarding environment to work in with a competitive benefits package.

The role will help support a number of functions from helping with accounting software transitions for the valuable division while supporting the Regional Financial Controller while accounting for all movements in a physical and financial form. You will help ensure a smooth transition of the current accounting package to the new software in-line with the opening of an overseas manufacturing facility which will require accounting processes implemented prior to the opening of this new venture. This role will set a president for best practice throughout the new region, including defining processes and controls from a financial perspective that will be the bed rock of the business for reporting, ensuring consistency across the business.

The successful applicant will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with prior experience in a commodities environment however individuals without this experience will be considered. You will have experience of system changes and improvements ideally using SAP with the ability to coach and mentor junior members of staff. this role will require international travel to business locations.

Salary £50,000-£55,000
