Accountant

Goodman Masson are looking for a qualified accountant to join a property manager tending to some of the most luxurious properties in London and around the world. This role will provide reporting and analysis to assist senior management on decision making and planning. They are ideally looking at industry qualified accountants.

The main aspect of the role is to assist with the day to day finance requirements of the business, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met, and to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation. The candidate must have the skill set and be prepared to contribute in all areas within the finance function working independently within financial control and FP&A.

Accountabilities

• Provide monthly analysis of property performance, including identifying areas in which the property can improve performance. Work with building managers to implement action plans where appropriate
• Preparation of the monthly/annual budget
• Updating and maintaining the forecasts
• Provide financial information to managers
• Responsible for preparation of group consolidation on a management accounting and statutory basis
• Managing preparation of all inter-group fees and recharges between all group companies
• Assist with collation of information and presentation of forecasts and ensure forecast schedules are updated throughout the year
• Ad-hoc reporting as requested by the business

Skills

• Exam qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Good Excel skills
• Previous property management experience (preferred)
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to question
• Attention to detail is critical
• Proactive and open to change
