Our client is currently looking for a technically strong Group Financial Accountant to join this national organisation based in Preston and bolster their current finance reporting team at this exciting time of growth. The client has just completed an acquisition and this will have a direct impact on its growth internationally, so your technical reporting skills will be key in this position.

Duties will include: -

• Preparation of the company management accounts for the Groups subsidiaries
• Review of the group consolidation and associated balance sheet analysis
• Completion of the annual statutory accounts across the group, including reporting within IFRS and UK GAAP
• Improve current controls and processes within the balance sheet and across the wider business, improving efficiencies
• Calculate EBITDA and performance related ratios

The successful candidate will ideally be recently qualified (ACA/ACCA) and have already gained some good experience of the month end reporting pack, preferably with group consolidations as well as possible exposure to the Board. The role will ideally suit someone who wishes to make their first move from practice into industry, or someone who wishes to gain their first senior reporting role.
