Assistant Management Accountant

Excellent newly created role for a Degree Educated Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established business with over 50 years heritage. They have an excellent reputation in their markets and are behind many household names.

Reporting to an impressive Financial Controller and joining a small but well established team at their UK Head Office in the north Manchester region. Duties will include;

* Month end Accounts close with Bank reconciliations and Stock reconciliation
* Assisting with the preparation of annual and rolling Budgets/forecasts
* Hands on processing supplier payments
* Reviewing expenses/credit cards
* Producing management accounts and monthly balance sheets
* Doing balance sheet reconciliations
* Processing inter-company recharges
* Property company accounts
* Liaise with our external auditors and
* Producing year end stat accounts alongside the Financial Controller
* Tax packs and VAT Returns

The ideal candidate will be Degree educated and will have had exposure to month end management accounts and have started their professional studies CIMA/ACCA. It is advantageous but not essential that you are degree educated. Strong communication skills and a desire to become a professionally qualified accountant.
