Group Financial Accountant

Group Financial Accountant - career development to FC. £40-45k + Car/Car allowance, Pension, Health, Bonus + 25 days holiday.

UK wide household name based in Leeds within commutable distance from York, Harrogate, Wakefield and surrounding areas currently require an experienced Financial Accountant to join their expanding group finance function in a varied and challenging role.


Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will undertake a variety of tasks for both the UK and US divisions of the business. You will produce financial and statutory accounts in accordance with US and UK accounting standards highlighting any discrepancies directly to the Financial Controller. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the fixed assets and central overheads dealing with budget preparation and quarterly forecasting. As your experience and knowledge of the business develops you will be given the opportunity to develop your career along several different paths that include financial controller, business partnering or strategic commercial analysis.


Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with previous experience within a financial accountant position or be from an audit background within practice. Previous exposure to UKGAAP and USGAAP would be advantageous although not essential.
