Hays are proud to be representing a global leader in Biotechnology based in North Cambridge who are looking for a permanent full time Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Your new job as an Assistant Accountant will be assisting the Finance Manager and your main duties will include reconciliations, draft returns, intrastats, project accounting and preparing the accounts. There may also be some elements of bookkeeping.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you must be part-qualified or QBE and have the initiative to work well on your own, meet all deadlines and be reliable with all tasks given. You must be organised, be able to manage your workload and you MUST be an intermediate user of excel (vlookups, pivots and manipulating data for reports)
