Fantastic opportunity to work for a SME Technology firm in the heart of Cambridge, £18 - 20k, 1 Year FTC.
Your new company
Your new job as an Accounts Assistant will be working for a leading Technology firm who aim to change the world of researchers and education. The organisation is based in the heart of Cambridge with easy public transport access and on site parking. This is a 1 year FTC.
Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant you will report into the Group Management Accountant and your main responsibilities will include purchase ledger (low volume and low values), purchase order matching and coding, staff expenses, credit card expenses, any invoice queries and any other duties as and when requested. You will have the support of another accounts assistant but will be working in a large and friendly finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you must have excellent communication skills with the ability to phone suppliers and deal with any queries as necessary, a positive and proactive approach to daily tasks, and you must be able to pay excellent attention to detail. It would be desirable to have purchase ledger experience but my client is happy to train people as long as you have the right attitude and a thorough approach, then they will happily consider all applicants.
