An outstanding opportunity to join a FTSE 100 business to become an integral part of the commercial finance team. This is a critical role to understand and drive business performance improvement in commercial areas of the Division and partner with senior stakeholders to drive profitable growth.
You will be responsible for:
Providing insightful analysis and identifying solutions that drive decisions and actions. Tailoring information to the audience and provide simple, clear take home messages
Delivering the annual budget and strategic plan process
Driving the forecasting and budgeting agenda, ensuring robust reviews are in place and drive performance and decision making with clear commercial insights.
Providing finance support for all employee incentive schemes working closely with HR to provide relevant insight into the value of the incentive schemes
Act as the main point of contact for all queries relating to budgets, forecast and strategic plans
Performance manage, motivate and lead a small team  
 
This is a key role where you will be working with high level stakeholders. The successful applicant will have drive and real commercial insight and will enjoy driving performance and change. You will enjoy managing teams and working to ensure everyone is delivering to the highest possible standards. You must be not only be commercial but also technically strong with the ability to build strong and enduring relationships. Influencing stakeholders must be second nature. Although initially a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, there is real growth and change within the organisation so it is expected that a permanent role would be available longer term for the right candidate. In addition, this is a new post so there is an opportunity to set standards and help support the wider culture of change and growth.
