We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a highly regarded and progressive organisation as Commercial Finance Analyst reporting to the Finance Manager and responsible for maintaining and developing bid models, product pricing and preparing business cases.
The responsibilities include the following:
• Draft business cases as required, describing the business thesis of new opportunities
• Maintain a library of business cases for all current product lines, reviewing quarterly, as products are developed and the market changes
• Build business plan models for presenting the financials in business cases
• Develop and maintain legacy bid models, and work with ICT developers to transfer them into the portal
• Act as the point of contract with the Tendering teams on bidding
• Develop and maintain pricing methodologies for products
• Conduct commercial feasibility studies for new opportunities
• Support businesses through the ongoing market framework changes, and develop bid models as required
• Prepare and present financial models and authorisation documents
• Support SMT on the financial elements of contract negotiations for projects
• Provide financial evaluations for funding procurements
• Compile presentations describing tenders for sign-off
• Review of cost of sales to ensure that costs are accurately reflected in bids
• Pricing and review of the portfolio
• Review and development of investment appraisals
• Systemising of Excel bid models
The position would suit a graduate, qualified accountant with relevant commercial experience, advanced excel skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.
