System Accountant

A fast-growing hospitality group based in London is looking for an experienced Systems Accountant to provide support to the existing team during a sytem implemention across their back-office finance function.

This is a great assignment for anybody who likes testing and working on finance processes within system implementations.

To successfully deliver this project, you will need to have:

• Qualified Accountant certification

• Positive approach towards meeting deadlines and working both autonomously and as a team
• Assets knowledge (understand how the different phases of assets - capitalisation, depreciation, revaluation, disposals, etc)
• Have performed UAT (user acceptance testing) in the past and understands the task/process nature of the activity
• General experience with systems implementation - data migration and mapping of data

Additional experience:

• Prepared year end working papers and reconciliations for audit
• Ability to create training materials to cover the key areas of the system
• Deliver training sessions to the broader finance team and outside of finance
